A person is in a critical condition after being hit by a vehicle on a major Auckland road on Monday.
The incident occurred about 11.30pm on Lincoln Road in Henderson.
The road was closed for a time as the Serious Crash Unit investigated.
Police said it has since opened again but their investigation was ongoing to find out what happened.
They are appealing for anyone with information to make contact.
