Eastern Hutt Road north of Wellington has reopened after it was shut by earlier by a slip on Monday morning.
The slip was blocking both directions of the road between Stokes Valley Road and Reynolds Bach Drive, but had since been cleared.
Police thanked motorists for their patience after diversions were in place resulting in delays.
