Two people have been punched by a group they say were posing as Uber Eats drivers.

Police said they were investigating the forced entry of a home in the Auckland suburb of Flat Bush.

It happened about 9.10pm on Sunday.

Police said those at the home were alleging the group tried to get inside claiming they were delivering Uber Eats.

Two people were attacked and had their phones and a wallet stolen.

Police said their enquiries were ongoing.
