A 3D-printed pistol was among items found during police searches in Feilding and Auckland.
Police launched search warrants with the Armed Offenders Squad after finding alleged drug and firearm dealing between the two locations.
They seized cannabis, methemphetamine and $5000 dollars cash in the searches on Friday.
Officers also found the 3D printed point-22 pistol and ammunition.
A 45-year-old man was arrested in Feilding and charged with methamphetamine possession.
In Manurewa, Auckland a 47-year-old was arrested and charged with possessing ammunition and a firearm.
"This was an excellent result from multiple officers," Detective Sergeant Nick Lawton said.
As well as the AOS, the Offender Prevention Team and Criminal Investigation Branch were also involved.
Police said further charges were likely.
Detective Sergeant Lawton said police also located a woman they had been trying to find after a number of shoplifting incidents.
