A water main burst on Auckland's North Shore this afternoon, causing supply issues in Northcote, Northcote Point, Hillcrest and some parts of Takapuna.
Watercare conducted emergency repairs at the Lake Road site, and just after 8.30pm on Wednesday water was being restored to the network.
The water issue has been fixed!! But may take a little time to come on everywhere as it fills all the pipes through the network.

Thanks to Watercare staff and contractors for fixing this fairly large break in the network as fast as possible.
Thanks everyone for your patience.
North Shore councillor Richard Hills thanked Watercare staff and contractors for fixing the large fault.
Watercare originally said on it's website that the fault was reported at 1.45pm on Wednesday afternoon, and the estimated restoration time was close to midnight.
