One person has died following a serious crash between a car and a cyclist in Haumoana on Saturday.
Police said they were called to Mill Rd at 10.35am. Despite the best efforts of emergency services, one person died at the scene.
The road was closed while a scene examination was carried out.
A diversion was in place via Tukituki Rd and Waimarama Rd.
