A man is being interviewed by police in Kaitaia after a shooting incident which sparked an armed offenders call out on Saturday afternoon.
Police say shortly before midday there was a domestic dispute between a man and woman at an address in Ahipara and a gun was fired twice, but no one was injured.
Armed offenders squad officers from Whangarei have been speaking to a man found late in the afternoon at a house in nearby Shipwreck Bay.
