Police in west Auckland say there is still no sign of a missing toddler.
Asiling Symes, aged two years, was with her parents at a vacant property they were tidying up in Longburn Road, when she disappeared about 5.30pm on Monday.
A search resumed on Tuesday morning, with around 40 police and search personnel now involved.
A thorough canvass of the area is being carried out, including streams and culverts in the area. So far there have been no further sightings.
Police still want to speak to a young asian woman who was last seen talking to her.
Police say Asiling has light brown hair and is wearing a green ski jacket, jeans with embroidered flowers and white tennis shoes.
