Police in Auckland say a person has died following a crash on Great North Road in Western Springs.
Another person has been taken to hospital in a serious condition.
The crash, involving two vehicles, happened about 2.30pm this afternoon.
Police say enquiries are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The road has now reopened.
