Four people injured, one critically, in Auckland crash

Four people are injured, one critically, following a single-vehicle crash in Auckland.

Police said emergency services were called to the intersection of Airfield Road and Mullins Road in south Auckland's Ardmore around 4:15am on Sunday.

"One person is reported to have critical injuries, another serious injuries, and two have sustained moderate injuries," a police statement said.

The Serious Crash Unit was examining the scene, with Mullins Road currently closed at the intersections with Clevedon-Takanini Road and Papakura-Clevedon Road.

Airfield Road was closed before Mullins Road.

"Please avoid the area if possible, or expect delays," police said.
