A woman and three children have been injured after a quad bike accident in northern Auckland this morning.
The bike slid 50m down a muddy bank at Whangateau in the Rodney District, just before 9am today.
The woman, aged in her 40s, suffered serious injuries and was winched out before being flown to Auckland City Hospital.
Two of the children have moderate injuries and have been taken by ambulance to Starship Hospital, while the third child has minor injuries.
