A fire that destroyed nearly a third of a commercial building in Te Awamutu last night is being treated as suspicious.
Fire crews were were called to the multi-tenanted building in Rickit Road just before 9pm on Sunday.
There were no reports of injuries, a Fire and Emergency spokesperson said.
The blaze was brought under control before midnight.
Investigators will be at the scene today to determine the cause.
