Police say the death of a man at a Christchurch property this week is no longer being treated as suspicious.
The body of 33-year-old Rikiana Hirawani was found at his Gilberthorpes Road property in the suburb of Hei Hei on Tuesday.
Detective Senior Sergeant Colin Baillie said following a post-mortem, the death is not believed to be suspicious and will be referred to the coroner.
Baillie said a scene examination has been completed and cordons will be removed this afternoon.
Inquiries into the circumstances of Hiriwani's death are ongoing.
Police extended their condolences to his family.
