One person was killed in a crash south of Auckland this morning.
Police said the single-vehicle accident on Hunua Road in Hunua was reported at 10.40am.
The road was closed between its intersections with John Hill and Lockwood Roads, with diversions in place.

Despite an increase in road deaths last year, roading officials say targets for reducing the road toll are on track.
Road deaths are disproportionately high despite pandemic lockdowns, the AA says, with 319 people killed in crashes in 2021.
