One person has died and two people have been injured in a single-vehicle crash in South Auckland on Monday night.
The crash, which happened at the intersection of Pembroke St and Tui Rd in Papatoetoe, was reported to police about 7.30pm.
Two people were taken to hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
In a statement just before 9.30pm, police said locals may notice power outages as crews worked to restore a power pole damaged in the crash.
The circumstances of the crash are under investigation.
