One person has died following a crash involving two vehicles in Waikato.
Police said the crash occurred earlier on Friday on State Highway 29 in the Kaimai Ranges.
"The road is expected to remain closed for some time while the Serious Crash Unit examines the scene," police said in a statement/
"The diversions available will likely add significant travel time to anyone looking to move through the area."
Police said motorists should consider delaying travel if possible.
