The multi-media state broadcaster had 19 finalists and four category winners at this evening's event.

Checkpoint's Louise Ternouth won Best New Broadcaster - Journalist, backing up her Best Student Journalist win at the Voyager Media Awards last year.

Anusha Bradley took out the Best News or Sports Journalist award. Bradley broke a number of important health stories over the past year for the RNZ In Depth team.

As Country Life gears up to celebrate 25 years later this year, the team won Best Daily or Weekly Feature in the Best Programmes category. Congratulations Carol Stiles, Sally Round, Cosmo Kentish-Barnes and Duncan Smith.

Fragments, a six-part series produced and hosted by Katy Gosset, won Best Documentary or Factual Talk Feature. Released to mark the 10th anniversary of the Christchurch Earthquake, it saw the RNZ podcast team collaborate with citizen journalists to tell stories about the day the earthquake hit and what's happened in the decade since.
