One person remains in hospital with serious injuries after a shooting

Ambulances were called to a firearms incident in the suburb of Rānui at 10.05pm on Sunday.
Police said one person was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the shooting on Metcalfe Road.
A police presence remained in the area on Monday morning.
