One person has died following a crash involving a pedestrian and truck on State Highway 1, near Hunterville, this evening.
Police were called to the crash scene, between Rowes Road and Kie Kie Road, at 6.15pm.
They say the pedestrian died at the scene.
The road remains closed while the serious crash unit examines the scene.
A detour is in place.
