Police want to find witnesses after a man was threatened with a gun in Gisborne on Friday and chased down the street.

The incident occurred shortly after midday in the suburb of Kaiti.
Two men reportedly pulled up a vehicle next to another man who was walking alongside the main highway, threatened him with a gun, then chased him.
The victim tried to get into another person's vehicle before running to a nearby store.
The two men followed the victim into the store and may have robbed him of several items.
A 19-year-old has been charged with aggravated robbery and driving while suspended.
Police want to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident.
