Auckland's southern motorway will be closed in both directions for 14 hours overnight tonight.

Waka Kotahi says State Highway One between Papakura and Drury will be shut from 7pm until 9am tomorrow morning, so the old Park Estate Bridge can be demolished to make room for more motorway lanes.
Traffic will be diverted along Great South Road.
