The University of Auckland is facing another allegation of sexual misconduct, and it's now reviewing its handling of all similar cases.

Last week the Herald on Sunday reported a victim said she was raped twice by a fellow student who was allowed to keep studying.
The newspaper said the university's proctor agreed that the man had raped and physically assaulted a student last year. He received a written reprimand and kept studying, but is facing a disciplinary committee.
The university has since said it made mistakes in responding to the student's allegations, and its disciplinary process was not adequate.
Yesterday, vice-chancellor Dawn Freshwater emailed staff saying a second similar case had been raised, and there would be a story in the media about it this weekend.
She said all known similar cases will be reviewed to make sure the university responded appropriately.
In 2020, the University of Otago's Sexual Violence Support and Prevention Centre Te Whare Tāwharau reported, that of 1500 university students surveyed, 28 percent reported they had experienced a sexual assault, including 15 percent who reported rape. However, one third of those assaulted did not report it to authorities.
