More Queenstown Covid-19 locations of interest listed

The Ministry of Health has listed more Covid-19 locations of interest in Queenstown, including a gym, a supermarket and a bar.

Positive cases have now been found in Queenstown, Dunedin, Invercargill, Gore, Tekapo and Wānaka and the Southern District Health Board is urging anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms to get tested.

People who visited the Queenstown Events Centre on Tuesday 8 February from 6.45pm-9pm and the Cowboy bar on Sunday 6 February from 7pm-10pm are asked to self isolate and get a test immediately and on day 5.

Those who visited New World Remarkables Park in Frankton on Sunday 6 February from 7.30am-745am are asked to self monitor for symptoms.

They join the list of 20-plus locations in the resort town, including nine hospitality venues.

Anyone who was at the named locations is encouraged to check the ministry's website for advice.

Meanwhile, a Lake Tekapo cafe and a Wānaka lavender farm have also been listed as locations of interest.

Anyone who was at Mackenzies Cafe Bar & Grill in Tekapo between 5.00pm - 5.45pm on Sunday 6 February should self-isolate, get a test, and record their visit online.

Anyone who visited the Wānaka Lavender Farm between 12.39pm and 1.30pm last Monday, should self-monitor for symptoms.
