A number of people in Rotorua were assaulted in the early hours of Sunday morning, police say.

At around 2.30am on Sunday, police were called to Tania Crescent, Western Heights after reports of disorder.
Rotorua Field Crime manager Inspector Lindsay Pilbrow says three people were transported to hospital with serious injuries, one remained in hospital.
Several vehicles and a fence were damaged during the incident.
Pilbrow said the offenders fled the scene in several cars before police arrived.
Police asked anyone who witnessed the incident, or had any footage which may assist, to contact them by calling 105 and quoting file number: 220206/0704.
