Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a baby from Invercargill.

The four-month-old was taken to hospital with critical injuries last Saturday morning and transferred to Auckland's Starship Hospital, where the infant died yesterday.
Police say they are still speaking to the people who live at a property in Elizabeth Street in Invercargill and are not seeking anyone else.
