A Hamilton train station has been cordoned off after a woman and an infant were found dead this morning.

Police said emergency services were called to the scene at Frankton train station shortly after 8am.
Initially police said one person was found dead at the scene, but have since said an infant was also found.
The area was cordoned off while police examined the scene near the freight line.
St John sent six vehicles to the incident, including one ambulance.
The death was expected to be referred to the coroner.
