Police have located a body in Wellington Harbour this evening believed to be that of missing kayaker Jack Skellett.

Search teams today had been searching for the missing 23-year-old after he failed to return to shore.
He was reported overdue around 10pm on Monday.
In a statement this evening police extended sympathy to the man's family, who they said had requested privacy.
The matter will be referred to the Coroner.
