Two people have died following a crash between a car and a truck on Savill Road in Favona in south Auckland last night.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 9.10pm.
Earlier in the night a person died after falling from the back of a utility vehicle in Manawatū.
The incident on Te Awa Road, in Pohangina, was reported to emergency services at about 6pm.
The critically injured person died at the scene.
