A person has died after falling from the back a utility vehicle on Te Awa Road, in Pohangina, Manawatū on Saturday evening.
The incident was reported to emergency services about 6pm.
The person was critically injured and later died at the scene.
Inquiries into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
