The police have released details of the two pedestrians who died after being hit by a car on Lake Terrace in Taupō yesterday afternoon.

They were Abigail Vizenti, aged 87 and Arno Vizenti, aged 92, both of Taupō and from the same family.
Police say enquiries into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
