Two pedestrians have been killed by a vehicle in Taupō this afternoon.
Police say they were hit by a single vehicle about 1.42pm this afternoon on Lake Terrace.
Police are continuing to ask motorists to avoid the area.
An investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
