A man has been rushed to hospital after being shot in the arm in Levin.

The man turned up at the Levin Ambulance Station shortly before 10pm on Sunday and was taken to Palmerston North Hospital with moderate injuries.
Initial police inquiries indicate the shooting happened at a residential property on Goldsmith Cres in the Horowhenua town.
Police are appealing for information as their investigation continues.
