A man has been charged with attempted murder in relation to a shooting in Karitane, Dunedin yesterday and been remanded in custody.

The 24-year-old man appeared in Dunedin District Court today charged with attempted murder and will reappear in Dunedin High Court on 26 October.
The investigation, including the scene examination at a Coast Road property, is ongoing.
