Police seek info on Ōtorohanga father's death

Police continue to appeal for information after the death of a father of six in the Waikato township of Ōtorohanga on Saturday night.

Unexplained death in Taita, Lower Hutt early on Sunday 26th January 2020.  A Police cordon and crime scene invetsigation tent were in place Monday 27th January 2020.

Anthony Takrouna Bell, 34, of Te Kuiti, died following an altercation on Maniapoto Street.

Officers said they wanted to hear from anyone who might have footage of the altercation.

They also wanted to hear from anyone with dash cam footage between Te Awamutu and Ōtorohanga between 5pm and 6.20pm, or saw a white Mazda Bounty ute carrying a trail bike or a black Volkswagen Amarok ute travelling from Te Awamutu to Ōtorohanga on Saturday night.
