A young woman whose body was found at a property in Manurewa yesterday afternoon is still to be identified, police say.

The woman is likely aged in her late teens or early twenties, police said.
Police said in a statement that they want the public to get in touch with the investigation team if they have a young family member or friend who has not been contact over the past day and this is out of character for them.
At this stage the woman's death is still being treated as unexplained and a post mortem examination is underway.
Police said they would continue a scene examination at a McVilly Road property today and have begun examining CCTV footage from the wider area.
Police said the investigation is still in its early stages and they are working hard to piece together what has happened.
