One person has died after a motorbike crash in the Coromandel last night.

Emergency services were alerted to a motorbike that left Tapu Coroglen Road, Tapu, at around 9pm.
The rider was located deceased at the scene, police said in a statement.
In another incident, a person died after being struck by a car in Matamata Friday night.
Police were notified at 9.35pm that a car had hit a pedestrian on Waharoa Road East.
The pedestrian was critically injured and died at the scene, police said.
Enquiries into the incidents are continuing, police said.
