A person has died after a truck and van collision in Rolleston, Canterbury, police say.

Police were notified of the two-vehicle crash on Maddisons Road about 4.50am.
The driver of the van died at the scene.
Diversions were in place at Hoskyns Road and Weedons Ross Road, and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
