A Hamilton teenager is in a critical condition after being shot earlier this week.

The 16 year old arrived at Waikato Hospital with a gunshot wound at 12.20am on 29 June.
He soon collapsed and now remains in a critical condition in hospital.
The boy's family have been informed and they are being supported by police
Police said they were investigating how and were he came to be hurt and were treating the incident very seriously.
