Ryszard Wilk and Patryk Lukasik have been on trial at the High Court in Auckland, for the offences committed in 2016 and 2017.

A third man, Aleksandr Cherushev, was found not guilty of importing and supplying cocaine and was released.

The jury, who retired to consider the verdicts on Friday, this morning found Wilk guilty of importing cocaine and conspiring to import it as well as supplying the drug and possessing it for supply.

Lukasik was found guilty of importing the drug and of laundering money.

Detectives uncovered a small amount of the cocaine hidden in a bin bag in Bastion Park in 2017, after reading encrypted messages on Wilk's phone.

Wilk and Lukasik remain in custody and they are due to be sentenced next month.
