One person is critically injured after two vehicles collided and one ended up crashing into a building in Auckland's Pakuranga.

The crash occurred near the intersection with Ussher Place just after 7am.
One person is in a critical condition.
One of the vehicles involved crashed into a building though police said serious damage had been reported at this stage.
Gossamer Drive is closed between Portadown Avenue and Larne Ave as the serious crash unit attend the scene.
Police are advising motorists to avoid the area if possible.
