A cyclist has died in the Auckland suburb of Belmont after a crash with a truck.

The crash happened at the intersection between Lake Road and Montgomery Avenue, just after 1pm this afternoon.
A section of Lake Road was closed for emergency services to carry out their work. Motorists were asked to avoid the area.
