7:51 pm on 28 January 2021

The Ministry of Health has updated it locations of interest visited by a father and daughter who are the latest confirmed cases of Covid-19 in New Zealand.

The first is DaHua Supermarket in Northcote which they visited on 26 January between 12.57pm and 1.45pm.

The second location is the ASB Wairau Valley on 21 January between 2.06pm and 2.09pm.

In both instances the Ministry of Health's advice is if people suspect they were there around those times they should stay home, call Healthline and get tested.

The ministry has also added another visit by the two cases to a location that was already on the list. Two more visits to BBQ King restaurant in Albany have been identified - on 15 and 16 January and each time it was between 5pm and 6pm.

Another visit to Pak 'n' Save in Silverdale - which was already on the list - has been added, on 25 January.

The date for the pair's visit to New World Orewa has been changed, as well as the time for their visit to Farmers in Westfield Shopping Centre Albany.

An RNZ reporter visited the restaurant today and it was shut. A sign in Mandarin said it was closed for deep cleaning.

A manager at Albany Mall, which is on the list because it was visited for an hour on 24 January, said it was not planning on closing but has had a number of calls from people who have visited it.

Dr Ashley Bloomfield has told Checkpoint this evening that the two were not awaiting their test results when they were visiting these locations. It also took a couple of days for contact tracers to speak to them.
