Rau Tongia, 33, was killed on Percy Dyett Drive in the early hours of 20 December.

A 35-year-old woman has been charged with murder.

Today, in the Wellington District Court her lawyer asked that she not be named until she had had a mental health and substance abuse assessment, which Judge Mill granted.

She was remanded in custody until her next court appearance on 12 February.

A 20-year-old woman also appeared today charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder, accused of hiding the firearm.

She was also granted interim name suppression and remanded in custody until 12 February.
