A dairy owner was shot in the leg during an aggravated robbery in the South Auckland suburb of Manurewa last night.

Police said two people robbed the dairy on Halsey Rd about 6.30pm last night, pointing a gun and stealing cash and cigarettes.
One of the robbers shot the dairy owner in the leg, and he was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Police are asking anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen anything to come forward.
