A man reported missing in the Marlborough Sounds on his yacht has make contact with police.
The yacht left the Havelock marina at approximately 12pm on Saturday and the last contact from it was early yesterday morning when the skipper indicated he was in trouble in Fitzroy Bay.
Since police appealed to the public for information the skipper has been in contact.
