Five people have been injured after a crash between a car and a truck on State Highway 1 in Hamilton.

The crash happened at the Mangaharakeke Drive and Avalon Drive roundabout just after 3pm.
One person is reported to have sustained serious injuries and four had moderate injuries.
The road is closed and drivers should expect delays.
Meanwhile in Auckland, people are also asked to expect delays on State Highway 1 northbound after a crash just after the Ellerslie-Panmure Highway.
