A fourth person has been charged with murder in relation to the death of Christchurch man Kane Alan Wayman.
The 46-year-old was taken to Christchurch Hospital in a critical condition on New Year's Day and died a short time later.
Police have now arrested a fourth person in relation to the murder. They will appear in the Christchurch District Court today.
A man and woman have already appeared in court charged with the murder, while another man was arrested in Southland yesterday and is also due to appear in court today.
