A man has died near Owaka Heads, Hinahina, this afternoon in a diving incident.
Police were called at midday to the remote area of the Catlins, east of Invercargill.
The diver had become separated from others in his group, and his body was found after a search, at about 1.40pm.
The man's death will be referred to the Coroner.
