Police have launched a homicide investigation after the death of a man in the Wellington suburb of Karori.

Police were called at 8.30am after a family member found the man at a property in Percy Dyett Drive.
A scene examination is under way and officers will remain at the property over the next few days.
There will be a significant police presence in the area in coming days to provide reassurance to the community.
Wellington Police are asking anyone who may have heard or seen anything in the Percy Dyett Avenue area last night to contact them.
Meanwhile, police are investigating after a man died at a house in South Auckland this morning.
Emergency services were called to the suburb of Mangere just 8am, after a man was found unresponsive.
The man could not be revived and died at the scene.
Enquiries are under way to establish the circumstances.
