Police confim the body found at Papamoa Beach is that of a missing swimmer.

The body of 22-year-old Michael Joseph Finekifolau, of Auckland was found by a member of the public at about 7am today.
Finekifolau didn't return from a swim at Mt Maunganui on 7 November.
Police said his body has been recovered and a blessing has been performed.
"Our thoughts are with his whānau at this time and police continue to provide them with support," police said in a statement.
The death will be referred to the coroner.
